Cámara Hispano Danesa Collaboration with the VIII Barcelona Beer Festival (BBF) 13. 14. 15. March 2020 in Farga del Hospitalet, Barcelona

It's a great pleasure for Cámara Hispano Danesa (Business Association The Spain Denmark Chamber of  Commerce) to present you to the Barcelona Beer Festival (BBF) to take place the 13. 14. 15. March 2020 in Farga del Hospitalet, Barcelona www.barcelonabeerfestival.com We are delighted to be collaborating with this remarcable craft beer festival in Barcelona beeing the most important benchmark event across the whole of southern Europe. Since the first edition, in 2012, eight editions have been held that prove the success of this event, attended by a loyal following of more than 35.000 visitors. Thanks to the festival’s continues growth, in 2017 it moved to La Farga de L'Hospitalet, a spacious and modern 8.500 -square-metres that offers all the comforts required to enjoy the three most brewer-focused days of the year. The new location has meant a remarkable qualitative leap and provided the festival with special facilities.

31 countries participated in the last festival, from large breweries to unusual countries. The selection of the 646 beers, that were tasted at the BBF is the result of a careful selective process spanning the entire year, according to criteria of quality, style and provenance. The aim is to always offer the best local and international beers. One of the attractions of the festival lies in the unique opportunity it offers to taste beers that are rarely available to the public because they are not part of the usual distribution circuits.

The BBF has always stood out for having first-rate international brewers. In recent editions, brewers such as The Alchemist, Stone, Mikkeller, Evil Twin and Stilwater have been invited to create a special edition beverage. There are several activities during the festival including ‘meet the brewers', an event to familiarize yourself with very interesting brewery projects.

BBF has been cooperating with several Danish brands during the eight editions of the Festival. For example , Mikkeller did a special beer edition for the Barcelona Beer Festival.
