The European Commission through DG
Enterprise and Industry and the Vice President Antonio Tajani will carry out in
Spain with the collaboration of the Spanish Administration, two Missions for
Growth in Spain, in Andalucía and Extremadura. The objective is to
contribute to investment and growth of the European companies, specially
SMEs, and to promote business partnerships between non-European and European
companies
The Missions will take place in
Sevilla ( 2nd and 3rd of April ) and Mérida (
4th of April ) and will
count with the participation of the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism Mr
José Manuel Soria, the CEO of ICEX Spain
Trade and Investment Ms Coriseo González-Izquierdo and the Presidents of
Andalucía and Extremadura in their respective cities, and with entrepreneurs
and business representatives, Chambers of Commerce and Business Organisations of
various nationalities.
The Missions will consist on a
Conference and technical panels accompanied by a B2B Meeting
between Spanish companies and European and non-European companies. The
Business-to-Business will take place the afternoon April 2nd and the morning April 3rd in Sevilla and in the
afternoon April 4th in Merida. The following priority sectors have been
identified for the business meetings :
- B2B Sevilla: Aerospace, Agro-food, Biotechnology and Health, Intelligent Energy, Creative Industry, Construction, mineral and stones (materials). Tourism & Cultural Heritage & Information and Communication Technologies.
- B2B Mérida: Food and auxiliary industries, Transport and logistics, Intelligent Energy, Tourism, Cultural Heritage and Environment, Biomedicine & Information and Communications Technologies

Conference and the B2B Meeting. The dead line for the registration for the
Conference is March 21th , for the B2B dead line, please see the UE webpage
and you must carry out the steps in the link below. The organisation
provides transfer from Sevilla to Merida the 3rd of April and
returns from Mérida to Sevilla when the event had finished. We invited you to
register in both events.

La Comisión de la UE a través de la DG
de Empresa y Emprendimiento y de su Vicepresidente Antonio Tajani está
organizando en España, con la colaboración de la Administración española, dos
Misiones para el Crecimiento en Andalucía y Extremadura en
España. El objetivo es favorecer la inversión y el crecimiento de las
empresas europeas, especialmente de las PYMES y facilitar los negocios entre
empresas extranjeras y europeas.
Las Misiones tendrán lugar en
Sevilla (2 y 3 de Abril) y Mérida (4 de Abril) y contarán con la
participación del Vicepresidente de la Comisión Antonio Tajani, el Ministro de
Industria, Energía y Turismo José Manuel Soria, de
la Consejera Delegada de ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones y
respectivamente en cada ciudad de los Presidentes de Andalucía y de Extremadura,
además de empresarios y representantes de empresas, Cámaras de Comercio y de
Organizaciones Empresariales de varias
nacionalidades.
Está previsto que las Misiones se
estructuren bajo el formato de una Conferencia plenaria y con
paneles técnicos, precedidas o
seguidas de Encuentro B2B entre empresas europeas y no europeas. Los
Encuentros business-to-business tendrán lugar la tarde del 2 de Abril y la
mañana del día 3 en Sevilla y la tarde del 4 de Abril en Mérida. Los sectores
objetivos identificados para los encuentros empresariales son:
· B2B de Sevilla:
Aeronáutico, Agroalimentario, Biotecnología y Salud, Energía inteligente,
Industrias Creativas, Medio Ambiente, Construcción, minería y piedra
(materiales), Turismo y Herencia cultural y Tecnologías de la Información y la
Comunicación
· B2B de Mérida: Alimentación e industrias
auxiliares, Transporte y logística, Energía inteligente, Turismo, Herencia
cultural y Medio ambiente, Biomedicina y Tecnologías de la Información y la
Comunicación
Se adjuntan programas preliminares
de ambas Misiones disponibles en la página web de la Comisión de la UE
así como link para mayor información y registro de los asistentes tanto a
las Sesiones y paneles como para las reuniones B2B. La fecha límite prevista
para la inscripción a la Conferencia es el 21 de Marzo, para las reuniones B2B, consultar la página web
de la Comisión Europea y deberá realizarse siguiendo las indicaciones
previstas en los links que se incluyen a continuación. La organización facilita
a las empresas el transporte el día 3 desde Sevilla a Mérida y la vuelta desde
Mérida a Sevilla una vez concluido el evento. Please register in both
